Effective 7th of September, we're now a bit more flexible in the event a home customer wishes to ditch their landline. And for those who don't, our voice service now carries much greater value.
On a regular basis we've had new customers ask whether we can provide them with a "broadband only" service, so they can save a few dollars. These people are folk who may have long ditched a landline and often have an unlimited calling plan on their mobile.
We value simplicy so for the sake of a (admittedly growing) minority, had previously decided to leave our plans as-is.
However, we have taken the opportunity to review our voice service and how it competes in the market. As a result of this review, we are happy to announce:
1) Our ultra fast broadband plans are now "broadband only". If you don't want a phone service from us, you don't have to be pushed into one by default. Making this change has allowed us to reduce our 12 month contract price for both new and existing customers.
2) You can now buy a $10 voice add-on. The add-on includes 1000 minutes of free calling to landlines in over 40 countries, including New Zealand and Australia. We think this adds significant value to our voice service and helps customer's see more predictable bills each month.
How do I take advantage of these changes?
If you're a new customer wanting to sign up to broadband-only, all you need to do is go through our regular sign-up process from September 7th, 2015 onwards.
If you're a new customer wanting to sign up to broadband + voice add-on, all you need to do is go through our regular sign-up process from September 7th, 2015 onwards. One of our staff will ask if you want to add voice before you sign any agreement with us.
If you're an existing customer wanting to resign to any of our plans, with or without the voice option, email firstname.lastname@example.org and our team will assist you.
